Class 2: What is hope?
This session begins our systematic exploration of hope as a subject of study. We start with philosophical and theological concepts from prominent thinkers Aristotle and St. Thomas of Aquinas. These allow us to lean into the scholarly theories of hope and its purposes.

- Identify key features of Aristotelian, Thomistic, modern conceptions of hope.
- Articulate criteria for hope
